WREN Funding success for fence removal!

We are delighted that our funding application for £40k to construct a new set of steps in place of the security fence that divides the park has been successful.  This will the first large project to be implemented from our masterplan to improve the park and the works should be ready by the summer.

Special thanks to Chris Rankin who has been instrumental in the development of this project and in securing funding, and to Rankin Fraser Landscape Architects who have provided all the necessary design and technical services required to realise what will be a remarkable improvement to the park.  We are of course also indebted to WREN who are providing the majority of the required funds.
